Immunology Day Centre

The Immunology day Centre is located on the Royal Hospital Site, on the first floor of the Elliot Dynes building (opposite the ‘Children’s’ hospital).

Visitors are required to park in the main RVH carpark*. There are limited disabled parking spaces outside the Elliot Dynes building. If you have mobility issues, you may prefer to have a friend of family member drop you off outside the building.

There is a lift available to access the IDC on the first floor. If you have a disability, please contact us in advance of your appointment so we can address any specific requirements.

Outpatient clinics Royal Victoria Hospital (RVH)

Please check your appointment letter for the location of your clinic as these vary. The main RVH carpark* is available for patients attending RVH clinics.

6B, 7A, 7B outpatients. These are located in the old outpatient building. This can be accessed through the main RVH building. Enter through the main RVH entrance, take the escalator to the 1st floor, walk to the lifts at the end of the corridor (not those located along the corridor) and select the relevant floor.

General anaesthetic allergy clinic.

The General Anaesthetic Allergy Clinic is situated on level 9c of the critical care building, which is located within the main RVH building.

To get there, you should enter the ground floor reception and take the escalator or lift to level 2.

Walk along the main RVH corridor on level 2. Near the end of the corridor, you will see a sign for the critical care building on the left. Take this exit off the main corridor and immediately you will see a lift on the right. Take this lift to level 9. On exiting the lift you will find the reception on the right. Do not take the lifts located along the man RVH corridor

*Queues for the main RVH carpark are common so ensure you leave additional time for parking. It can take over 15 minutes to reach RVH out patients and up to 15 minutes to reach the IDC from the main car park.

Paediatric outpatient clinics

All paediatric clinics are located in Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children (RBHSC). This is a separate building on the RVH site located closer to the Broadway entrance of the site. The RBHSC has a separate carpark located just outside the clinic. However spaces are limited, and queues are frequent, so ensure you leave additional time for parking.

Lung defence clinic (LDC)

The LDC takes place in the Regional Respiratory Centre (RRC), located on the Belfast City Hospital (BCH) site. The entrance to the RRC is to the left of the main BCH entrance.
